The composition of St. Joseph's Governing Body is made up of foundation governors, appointed by the Bishop of the Diocese, Local Authority (LA) representatives, staff governors and parent governors. 

Governors and school leaders have a shared vision for school improvement; high expectation and ambition drive the priorities for our learning community.

The Governing Body influences the work of the school through support and challenge. Governors have a secure knowledge of the school's strengths, areas for development and school plan priorities.  They help to provide a clear strategic direction for the school.
