    01 May is the Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, the patron saint of our school community. In assemblies and lessons the children will be reminded of the qualities of St. Joseph and how to follow his example in school.

    Staff and children celebrated this important Feast Day by spending some time in the afternoon on the field with their class and enjoying an ice-lolly.

  • Advent

    During the season of Advent, we will be preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ at Christmas.We will be reminding the children that this is a time to reflect and consider if we are ready for the day when Jesus will return as He promised. In school we  will be helping the children to prepare for this special celebration through our prayers, virtual assemblies, and Religious Education lessons.The Nativity scene is central to our preparations.

    October is the month of the Rosary. In school during assemblies and class collective worship, we will be exploring and praying parts of the Rosary with the children. We would ask parents and children to pray the Hail Mary as a family.
